A pesky Colorado squad tested top-seeded Stanford in Saturday’s Pac-12 Women’s Tournament semifinal at KeyArena, but the Cardinal pulled away for a 61-47 win thanks to Chiney Ogwumike’s solid second-half performance.

Any coach can tell you how hard it is to beat a team three times in a season. Lindsay Gottlieb’s Golden Bears got a harsh reminder Saturday night at KeyArena as UCLA sailed past them 70-58 to advance to the Pac-12 Women’s Basketball Tournament championship game.

Though Washington kept it close through the final minutes, Colorado maintained its second-half lead all the way to the final buzzer, taking out UW 70-59 in Friday’s nightcap of the Pac-12 Women’s Basketball Tournament quarterfinals.
