UCLA posted its third win in as many games over Arizona this season as the Bruins downed the Wildcats 66-64 Friday night in the Pac-12 Tournament semifinals.
But not without some controversy.
With 4:37 left in the game, a double dribble was called against Arizona’s Mark Lyons on this play. Arizona coach Sean Miller disagreed with the ruling and voiced his opinion to the nearby official, earning Miller the only technical foul of the night and his first of the season. The tech led to two Jordan Adams free throws to tie the game at 56.
Two points turned out to be the margin of victory. The moment was top of mind as Miller opened his presser.
